What payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards through Square.
How do you package soaps?
We are resourceful when it comes to packaging our soaps! Right now, we use twine to affix our labels to bars and soaps and wrap them in either wrapping paper or wax paper bags. In 2021, we’re going to move to all recycled products and paper tape for wrapping and shipping.
When do orders ship?
We ship orders every Monday and Wednesday.
Can I cancel my order? Do you give refunds or accept returns?
Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of being placed. Once an order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer an option.
Refund & Return Policy: All our products are personal care items and so due to safety concerns, all sales are final. We cannot accept the return of sealed products since they have been out of our supervision. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us via email here: hello@alexanderfarmorchard.com.
Are any of your soaps vegan?
Yes, relaxed + powerful, Sarah’s Soap and Azalea’s Bar are made with plant-based products.
Which of your soaps are made with tallow or lard?
We believe in nothing being wasted and proudly render our own beef tallow for our tallow-based soaps. Our winter soaps, Cherry’s Bar, Winter Bliss, and Peppermint Hot Chocolate use tallow we double, and sometimes triple render in-house.
Why are some soaps more expensive than others?
Time and products used can impact the price of our soaps. Expensive essential oils such as myrrh and frankincense and the process of rendering tallow in-house are such factors.

How long does it take to make soap?
The soap making process can be completed in a day. It’s the curing process that’s a bit lengthy. Once the soap has been unmolded and cut, the curing process takes minimally four weeks. Soaps that use no hard oils like coconut oil can take months to cure and harden. Castille soaps made with only olive oil take a full year to cure!
Will my soaps look like the picture?
Our soaps are made in small batches and no two batches are exactly alike. Think of your soaps as works of art! We do try to photograph soaps in the same conditions so you can see detail and color. You can always check out our Instagram page to see the latest batches and soap designs.
Do you use palm oil in your soaps?
No, we do not use palm oil in any of our products.
