5 Houseplants You Can’t Kill
You want your home to feel more like a sanctuary – your sacred space. Plants and fresh flowers definitely help with that transformation. But, you’re convinced that you have a black thumb and have settled on dusty faux plants scattered throughout the house.
We understand.
We’ve got a few dusty faux plants too so no judgment!
But alas, you can have the beauty of real plants in your home. They’re super easy to care for. They are pretty much people proof so go ahead and start transforming your space!
#1 The ZZ Plant
We start with the plant that can take massive amounts of neglect! Zamioculcas zamiifolia or the ZZ plant will live through low light, drought, dry air, bugs, and anything else you can throw at it. Water it once a month and even if you forget, this forgiving plant will still bounce back.
#2. Aloe Vera
If you don’t get a lot of direct sunlight, then the aloe vera plant is your friend. It can thrive with indirect sunlight and a good drenching every two weeks.
#3. Philodendron
This plant will thrive even with a bit of neglect. Keep away from direct sunlight and water every week…ore even every two weeks.
#4. Peace Lilly
This air-purifying plant can survive on occasional sunshine and a misting of water every two weeks!
#5. Pothos
When the leaves drop, give it some water. They’ll spruce right back up! They don’t like to be waterlogged so just a little. When it’s thirsty, it will tell you!
