To Wonderful Dads Everywhere — Happy Father’s Day

Today is the day we recognize dads.

And I have to go no further than my house to know what a good father is.

My hubby has been a wonderful father to our children and it’s been a pleasure watching him form bonds with them.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Elgin and our son Evan. This was taken lots of years ago and I cherish it even more with each passing year.

I applaud good dads everywhere for being good guests at tea parties and cheering loudly in the stands.

I applaud good dads everywhere for being tender and showing their kids what healthy relationships look like.

I applaud good dads everywhere for being the ultimate DIYers or at least knowing who to call.

I applaud good dads everywhere for issuing tough love when it was needed…because, you know, teenagers.

I applaud good dads everywhere for being fierce protectors.
